a ‘click’ when the cords are fi rmly seated in the recep-

Use with existing phones
It is recommended that you plug a conventional tele-
phone into the open jack on the Base Unit. This will
allow the phone to be used by other members of your
household and is an important step when programming
emergency contact numbers.
Key to LEDs on Base Unit and Pendant
Both the Base Unit and Pendant use LEDs to indicate
device status.
