2.5.2. FAN 

Connectors 

These 3-pin connectors each provide power to the cooling fans installed in your 
system. 

The CPU must be kept cool by using a powerful fan with heatsink. The system is 
capable of monitoring the speed of the CPU fan. 

• 

FAN1/FAN2:

 With speed monitoring support in BIOS menu 

• 

FAN4/FAN5: 

Without speed monitoring support in BIOS menu 

WARNING:

 These fan connectors are not jumpers. DO NOT place jumper caps on 

these connectors.
