4.1 Adding a GR unit and programming a GR function on optional button
In order to be able to use GR signals with your Control Medi Multi, settings needs to be
applied. The GR unit to be controlled need to be added to your Control Medi Multi. Select
the level and button to be used, and the desired function.
Do the following to add a GR unit and GR function to an optional button:
1. First press
and then simultaneously press

for 2 seconds. When you release the
button
s the “Setting” alert sounds and the indication lamp on button 5 flashes.

to choose level.

on the chosen level.

Set the receiver whilst in Include mode (refer to the receiver’s manual).

If the GR units makes contact, the “Success” alert sounds. If something goes wrong or it
takes too long, the “Error” alert sounds. If the “Success” alert sounds, continue with the
next step, otherwise, start over from step 1.
7. If the receiver has several channels (Multi Channel). Press

and then select the
channel on the receiver that you would like to use,

. If no channel is selected,
channel 1 will be used. (If the receiver
does not have several channels, the “Error” alert
sounds when pressing

8. Depending on the type of radio receiver to be added, different choices can be made:
8a. For a Switch function (Switch Binary):

8b. For a Window covering (Window Covering):

9. If the programming is a success with the first button, proceed from step 4 to learn more
