For a seamless transition to the contact tip, grind the start of the liner to an angle of approx.
40°. Deburr the cutting edge.

Push the tapered liner through the wire conduit to the retaining nipple

Screw on the nut

and tighten it with the switch key wrench.

Re-attach the equipment parts to the torch head

9.3 PA liner

Use the
ABICOR BINZEL
sharpener

to sharpen the start of the PA liner to approx. 40°.

Guide the PA liner

through the wire conduit until it reaches the contact tip.

Slide the retaining nipple

, O-ring and nut

onto the PA liner

, hold the PA liner taut
and tighten the nut

Guide the central connector together with the lengthy PA liner

through the central socket
into the wire feed unit.

Mark the PA liner

directly in front of the rollers and disconnect the central connector
again.

Use the
ABICOR BINZEL
cutter

to cut off the PA liner
(3)
where marked.

Sharpen the interface to 40°.
NOTICE
• New and unused liners must be shortened to the actual length of the cable assembly.
