Tropos 1410 Installation Guide

The PS079001 can be mounted on the mounting bracket of the Tropos 1410 or can be remotely 
mounted. 

The PS079001 provides an Ethernet port that connects to the LAN port on the Tropos 1410, 
allowing it to function as a gateway.

BB063001 - External Battery Backup Unit 

The BB063001 Battery Backup Unit (BBU) provides backup power for a Tropos 1410.  The 
BB063001 requires the use of one of the two Tropos power supplies described above.

The BB063001 can be mounted on the mounting bracket of the Tropos 1410 (when a TLP4820 
or PS079001 is used) or can be remotely mounted.

The PS079001 provides an Ethernet port that connects to the LAN port on the Tropos 1410, 
allowing the unit to connect an Ethernet client.

There are four deployment scenarios, as shown in 

Figure 13

. When using the BB063001 BBU, it 

should be mounted on the mounting bracket of the Tropos 1410. When using the PS079001 PoE 
injector without the BB063011, it can be mounted on the mounting bracket of the 
Tropos 1410. The PS079001must be remote mounted when used with the BB063001.
