4. Technical 

description

The REJ 525 is designed to be used as a secondary protection relay in medium 
voltage distribution systems, where the relay can be applied as the main or backup 
protection relay of an object. It can also be used for protection of generators, motors 
and transformers. The whole function software used in the relay is preloaded into the 
program memory at the production stage.

The operation and the features of the REJ 525 are explained in detail in the Technical 
Reference Manual.
