Quick start for distance
LST400 was designed with a very simple configuration
program. This allows the technician to set up LST400 without
the aid of a complicated source-code book. There are no
references to any codes in LST400. The set up procedure is all
menu-driven with the aid of questions and multiple-choice
answers.
1
Connect up the power and the transducer connections as
described on the LST400 board or in the LST400 manual
under terminal connections on ections on page 31.

Aim the transducer at a wall about 6 ft. away and check the
display. It should read the following:
• If the reading is above 6.00 ft then move the transducer
closer to the wall.
• If the reading is below 6.00 ft then move the transducer
away from the wall.
• You may now proceed and check other parameters.
