4. Preparing the charge unit
Before the basis is installed on the pole, the upper door in
front of the safety devices must be opened.
Open the upper door
Open the door with the key, the plug cover in front of the lock
must first be removed

Therefore, the closing rod needs to be removed.
There is a threaded pin at the top of the closing rod. The
closing rod can be removed by tilting an Allen key into SW 3.
Otherwise if the closing rod is stuck, unscrew the threaded pin
far enough so that it can be pulled using pliers. Once the
closing rod is removed, the door can be opened.

Installing the cable gland
The power cable enters the basis via a cable gland. There is a
threaded hole in the base plate at the bottom of the charge
unit for a commercial cable gland.
6 Threaded hole M25 x 1.5
Use a cable gland that fits with cable diameter. Use a
reduction for a cable gland diameter below M25 x 1.5. For a
cable gland with thread smaller than M25 x 1.5 use a
reduction.
IMPORTANT (NOTE)
The cable gland and reduction are not part of
the delivery scope.
