There is a dedicated earth point located on the motor, see Figure 11.

The earth cable from the inverter or vehicle chassis must be installed in an appropriate way and be 
suitable for high frequency currents.

NOTE:  

Ensure that the dedicated surface on the earth point is free from paint and dirt to ensure 
a good connection.
