(1) The temperature coefficient tolerance of 0.6% is based on an actual
rating of 0.03% per degree C and a 20° C differential between
supplies that are used on the bus. If a supply in one location is an
ambient of 40° C, then it is assumed that other supplies are within
10° C or in the range of 30 to 50° C (or another 20° C range). If this
stipulation is not met and all other tolerances are met, then the power
capability needs to be de-rated.
