Alternative certification:
• Intrinsically safe
(Category 1/2, EEx i) or
• Flameproof enclosure
(Category 1/2, EEx d), or
• Limited energy equipment
(Category 3, EEx nL)
Important
Prior to commissioning, the selected type of explosion protection (only one may be selected)
must be permanently marked in the appropriate box on the name plate. Once selected, the
type of explosion protection may not be changed.
If a supply is not intrinsically safe, or the transmitter has been fed in a way that is not intrinsically
safe, the explosion protection type "Intrinsically safe" is no longer valid.
Caution - Risk
Failure to observe this information will have an adverse effect on explosion protection.
