21. SOFTWARE UPGRADE
21.1. Network Update>
Latest S/W can be updated via Ethernet port using network update system.
Caution : AB images doesn´t supported network update !
21.2. USB memory stick Update
USB (host) memory stick download mode
:
-
Change the s/w image file name into “usb_update.img”
-
Put the “usb_update.img” file into a usb memory stick
-
Connect the usb memory stick into the STB (set top box)
-
On Shutdown mode, press and hold power (
) button on the front panel, and press
button
at the same time.
It displays
USB UPGRADE
Loading
Erasing -> Flashing
Done
automatically in step by
step for s/w upgrading.
Note
: usb_noboot.img, usb_kernel_root.img or usb_db.img MUST be renamed into
usb_update.img
for new
software update, and copy the renamed file to USB memory stick.
