Fault identification can help customers quickly locate the problem and take
proper actions to solve the problem.
Local Check
Check all the In-Band Management Chassis LED status and cable connections.
Check system setup and configuration through console.
Whole System Not Functioning
1. Check Power LED status
2. Check Power connection
3. Reset the In-Band Management Chassis’ power
Certain Network Link Not Functioning
1. Locate related slide-in module
2. Check slide-in module’s connection with back plane
3. Check slide-in module’s Power LED status
4. Check slide-in module’s Link LED status
5. Check UTP connection between the slide-in module and related
devices
6. Check Fiber connection between the slide-in module and related
devices
7. Reset slide-in module
Local Console Not Functioning
1. Check COM LED status
2. Check console connection
3. Check console configuration
4. Reset the In-Band Management Chassis’ power
