cursor will disappear. It means this target will be notched

and the detector will have no

on to the notched target. If you want to pick up the
target notched, simply press NOTCH again. Press + or -,
the cursor will move from le
ft
and right. If NOTCH is not
pressed within about 3 seconds, the detector will enter
standby state.
Note:
1. It is not recommended to notch all targets listed on
the LCD. Because if you notch everything, you can’t
fi
nd anything.
2. If you want to select the se

ng of DISC or SENS

er pressing NOTCH, you have to wait for about 3
seconds un
ti
l the cursor above the target goes out.

Press SENS then + or – to set the se
nsitivit
y. The default level
is of 6 bars.
Note: If you don’t press the bu
tt
ons (SENS,+,-) within
about 2 seconds, the detector will enter the standby state.

Place the detector on a wooden or plas
tic
table, then
remove any watches, rings, or metal jewelry you are
wearing.

Adjust the search coil so the
fl
at part points towards the
ceiling.
Note: Never test the detector on a
fl
oor inside a building. Most
buildings have metal of some kind in the
floo
r, which might
interfere with the objects you’re tes
ting
or mask the signal
completely.
