The manufacturer, AAT Alber Antriebstechnik GmbH, is neither liable nor responsible for
potential damage of the CR2304 in case of:
» Improper handling of the CR2304.
»
Repairs, fittings or other works performed on the CR2304 by unauthorized personnel
» Operation not in accordance with the user manual.
» Extraneous parts added or connected to the CR2304.
» Parts removed from the CR2304.
» Operation exceeding the total weight approved or the max. weight approved of the occupant.
» The CR2304 is not serviced every two years by the manufacturer or your authorized dealer.
»
Operation of the CR2304 with insufficiently charged batteries.
Liability
10 Warranty and liability
AAT Alber Antriebstechnik GmbH grants a warranty of two years for the CR2304 including all its
accessory parts (with the exception of the sealed lead acid batteries). The warranty begins at the date
of purchase and covers failure of material and errors in manufacturing.
For the sealed lead acid batteries, always assuming correct maintenance, AAT Alber Antriebstechnik
GmbH grants a warranty of one year from the date of purchase.
The warranty is void for defects or damage which are the result of the following:
» Damage due to excessive strain.
» Damage due to improper handling.
» Violent damage.
» Natural wear and tear (brake lining, gliding strip, climbers).
»
Improper and insufficient maintenance.
» Unauthorized constructional changes or inappropriate use of the CR2304 or its accessories.
» Using the CR2304 exceeding the total weight approved or the max. approved weight of the occupant.
» Improper charging of the sealed lead acid batteries.
Warranty
We will contact our authorized personnel, if additional important safety information is available or if
subsequent changes have been made on the product. We will inform our authorized personnel in writing
about the affected serial numbers. If your CR2304 is part of a product recall, you will be informed about the
process to be followed.
