6 Start-up

NOTE - Store c-max U2 in a frost-free environment for at least one hour prior to start-up
to avoid malfunctions.

NOTE - Wait a few seconds after turning on before you press the UP/DOWN switch!
5.3 Arm rests
DANGER - The arm rests must not be loaded unevenly as there is a risk of tipping!
DANGER - Do not attach any objects (such as bags) to the arm rests! Risk of tipping!
WARNING - Never sit on the arm rests or use as a carry handle, as these are not
designed for this purpose!
WARNING - When using the c-max U2, the occupant's arms must not protrude beyond the
arm rests!
CAUTION - Special care must be taken at the pinch point on the swivel part to avoid injuries
when swivelling the arm rests!

NOTE - The arm rests must not be loaded with more than 90 kg per side.
Release the swivel mecha-
nism by pushing in the lock-
ing knob.
Tilt the arm rest forward
until this clicks into place
again in the horizontal posi-
tion.
» Check if the seat is posi-
tioned correctly.
Arm rests function as side confinements and may be used as an arm support.
