Inserting the battery pack
Please observe the rules and regulations when dealing with batteries in the chapter "Safety and liability".
1. Remove the cover from the battery compartment: Press down gently on the cover and pull the side
ribbing downwards.
2. Plug the connector as indicated in the diagram into the left bottom socket in the battery compartment.
Press them in carefully with your finger as far as the stop. Do not use any tools!
3. Insert the battery pack at an angle towards the centre of the phone housing. Make sure the lettering
"This side up" is at the top. Make sure that the phone cord does not end up under the battery pack.
4. Store the phone cord carefully between the phone housnig and the battery pack.
5. Slide the battery compartment cover over the batteries until the cover snaps into place. Make sure the
phone cord is not caught on the cover and pulled along.
Charging the batteries
The batteries are supplied uncharged.
• To charge the batteries, place the phone in the charging bay.
• The 135pro can also be charged without the charging bay, using the optional plug-in power adapter.
• You can display the battery charge state by keeping key 6 pressed down. After switching on the phone
you need to leave it to charge for a while before the charge indicator can detect the battery charge
state.
It takes two to three charging cycles for the batteries to reach their fully charged state. To do so discharge
the phone by not placing it back into the charging bay until the batteries are completely or almost
completed discharged.
