Chapter 3  Award BIOS Setup

Onchip IDE Channel0/Onchip IDE Channel1

The integrated peripheral controller contains an IDE interface with
support for two IDE channels. Please select " Enabled" to activate
each channel separately.

The  choices: Enabled, Disable.

IDE Prefetch Mode

The onboard IDE drive interfaces supports IDE prefetching, for
faster drive accesses. If you install a primary and/or secondary add-
in IDE interface, set this field to Disabled if the interface does not
support prefetching.

The  choices: Enabled, Disable.
