Never connect a 1394 cable to the USB connector. Doing so will damage the
motherboard.
NOTES:
• The USB module cable is purchased separately.
• Before you install Windows 7 operating system, go to BIOS Setup >
Advanced > XHCI mode [Disabled], USB 2.0 (EHCI) support [Enabled],
and set them back when you finish installing the operating system.
• Intel(R) has released an official Windows(R) 7 XHCI Driver Creator
Utility, please download it from: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/
download/25476/Windows-7-USB-3-0-Creator-Utility .
To install Windows(R) 7 in the Skylake platform:
Step1 . Use this utility to pack XHCI driver into the original win7 OS image,
there will be another OS image released.
Step2
. Use the new OS image to install via any device.
