4. Installation
It applies to high frequency on-line UPS with SNMP SLOT (INTELLIGENT SLOT).
All inputs/outputs are isolated or potential-free.
The relay card can easily be plugged into the adapter slot (INTELLIGENT SLOT) of the
UPS and must then be coupled to the higher-level control via a signal cable.
The card is also configurable, so that essentially the assignment and the switching
behaviour can be defined.
1. Open the cover plate of INTELLIGENT SLOT on the rear panel of UPS.
2. Insert the card directly along the gap of the
INTELLIGENT SLOT until the metal plate of the
connection interface is tight against the surface
of the UPS back panel. This indicates that the
card is inserted correctly. Then use the screw
lock and fix the relay card in place.
3. Connect the UPS to the monitor via the connection cable. The monitoring device
displays and controls the operating status of the UPS to allow remote monitoring of the
UPS operation.
