Servicing should only be performed by a Qualified Service Technician
The Control System is programmed to start sparking a few seconds before the Gas Control Valve opens. See
the
"Sequence Of Operation Flow Chart" on Page 6.
Service Notes:
•
The animated lighting bolt Status Icon is visible on the UIM. See "(UIM) User Interface Module Screen"

Ensure the wiring and connections between the J6 Socket on the CCB and the Burner Adapter are not
broken, pinched or disconnected.
•
Ensure there is approximately 120 VAC at the J6 Socket on the CCB.
•
It is a good practice to check for any crack or damage to the ceramic insulator. If any crack is found,
replace the Spark Igniter. Do not contaminate the ceramic insulator as this could make a shortage pass
between the spark rod and grounding rod. Ensure good connection between the ignition cable and
Spark Igniter.
