…..Continuation: Precautions for exhausting
•
The lid of the silo bag is attached to the ceiling of the storeroom by means of all of the
loops sewn into the fabric (20 cm above the frame)
•
Fill the silo bag according to the needs of the installation situation (normally 0.3 bar)
•
Start exhausting the air with the return air blower only after a time delay has elapsed
following the start of the filling process
•
The fabric of the silo may not be sucked into the return air line.
•
Even during the exhaustion the lid of the silo has to be blown up completely
A house connection box with 230V and 16A protection must be accessible outside the
storage room. This power connection can be used for a possible suction blower.
Note before filling
Switch off the heating system prior to starting the filling process!
•
Check prior to filling that the filling line and items attached to it are assembled and are
not direct air upward towards the ceiling or downward into the silo..
•
When filling the A.B.S. silo for wood pellets, it is not necessary to exhaust the air. The
conveying air escapes through the fabric cover on the top of the silo.
•
To allow the conveying air to escape, the room where the silo is set up must have a
window, door or other opening at least 200 cm² in size.
•
If the extraction system on the silo is equipped with an emergency slide gate, this gate
must be closed during the filling process.
•
By Silos with exhaustion points the suction hoses should be removed by reasons of
security
•
All openings on the silo which are not equipped with the filling line must necessarily be
closed.
