Installing your 8x8 Broadband Phone Adapter - BPA 430
1. Using the enclosed standard Ethernet cable, plug one end into a
LAN (1)
port on the back of your Broadband Phone Service Adapter. Plug
the other end of the Ethernet cable into your router/gateway, which is connected to your broadband modem.
(The second LAN port can act as an Ethernet switched port)
2. Plug the power supply into the
DC IN (2)
port at the back of the Broadband Phone Service Adapter and into an
AC power outlet
.
3. Plug your home analog telephone into the
LINE 1 (3)
port on the Broadband Phone Service Adapter.
(LINE 2 is only available after you activate a second line)
The
Power
LED should be a solid green light. The
Link
LED should blink intermittently.
