3. Description and main features 

 
The  multiplexer  YAV904X8  is  designed  for  the  isolated  switching  of  DMM  signals.  Its  four 
branches are featuring 8 double relays each. By joining the common pins of each branch, a 
32 relays multiplexer can be set. 
 
In the case the system requires high precission measurements, a two branch matrix  can be 
configured,  allowing  4-wire  measurements  (resistors),  voltage  measurements  by  using 
guards or bridges excitation while measuring (the case of load cells). 
 
The  board  is  organized  in  4  groups  of  8  bipolar  relays,  with  double  contact  acces  to  each 
branch,  therefore,  we  have  the  possibility  to  set  up  different  multiplexer  configurations, 
depending on the connections we make inside the test fixture:
