AND SAFETY
INSTRUCTIONS
Congratulations on your purchase of our Dog-Box. We hope it
brings you great pleasure. This high quality product was con-
structed according to the latest technical, safety and design
knowledge and experience.
These instructions describe the assembly, proper use and im-
portant safety information. Keep these instructions in a location
accessible to all users at all times.
Note: Read these instructions carefully and fully and
comply with the information contained.
• The Dog-Box is to be used exclusively for dog transport.
• No children are to be carried in the box with the dog.
• The supply «Strap-Fix» is for fixing in the vehicle and must be
correctly and safely fitted. Care is to be taken that the back-
rest of the rear bench, is absolutely locked in place.
• Should not be lashing staps included, we recommend you to
use only with appropriate restraint straps breaking load.
• The interior of a vehicle can become very hot and unpleasant
for animals in the event of strong sunlight and with the doors
closed. In the case of high outside temperatures please open
the nearest window and fit the Fresh Air rear locking device
(accessory). Dogs are not to be left for longer than 15 minutes
in a parked vehicle in summer or in high temperatures.
• Note the information in the manual for your car manufacturer.
• The information concerning the nominal load can be found on
the back of the DOG BOX.
• Do not transport on an open flatbed.
• The Dog-Box is not to be incorrectly handled, no retrospective
changes are to be made or any kind of add-on parts mounted
unless this is expressly permitted by the manufacturer. Parts
screw-mounted by the manufacturer are only to be unscrewed
or replaced by the factory or an authorised tradesman. The
manufacturer waives all liability for accidents and defects of
all kinds occurring through improper use.
• The notices on the box concerning maximum load (Nominal
load), transport of animals and possible use are binding for
the country in question.
• The information concerning the nominal load can be found on
the adhesive, at back of the box.
• Obtain additional information concerning the regulation of the
relevant country or countries when you wish to make excur-
sions or journeys with the Dog-Box across national frontiers.
• Safety instructions:
Prior to every trip, check the load to make sure it is proper-
ly secured. The manner of driving must always con from to
the road conditions. Always comply with the road traffic li-
censing regulations (stVZO) an the traffic regulations (stVZO).
The admissible total weight must not be exceeded: compo-
nents + laoad (e.g.tools). Follow the directives of the StvZO
for loading (permanently installed components an cargo).
