5.2.8 Registration 

 

 

The Registration page is used to setup Brans units utilizing dynamic IP addresses. Registering 
with the Brans Central Name Server (CNS) will allow the Brans unit to be found on the network 
or internet by its name, since the dynamic IP will change each time the unit connects to the 
network. 
 

Server IP

 is the IP address of the Brans CNS. 

 

Logn ID

 is the descriptive name you will give to this Brans unit. 

 

Logon Password

 is assigned by you as the second part of the unit login process to the CNS. 

 

Public Open

 refers to listing your dynamic IP Brans unit on the Public site page at the Brans 

website. If you don’t want your site listed, click the No radio button.
