Fitting the soft polymer feeding unit (SPFU)
Used when soft filaments are needed (that are really difficult to use with standard feeders), the
SFPU feeder lets you use any elastic filament available for FDM/FFF printers.
Here follows the mounting procedure:
1. remove filaments from all extruders, remove
machine cover
2. turn off machine and follow procedure to remove
PTFE piping from extruders
3. unplug the #1 feeder: be sure to pull the
connector NOT the cable !
4. Route the feeder cable thru PTFE passage on
machine rear side and bring it toward extruder
assembly
5. Wrap the feeder cable around the black piping
going from machine body to extruder assy
