USER INSTRUCTIONS
RECHARGING THE EARPLUGS
Fully charge the earplugs before first use. The earplugs can be recharged inside the charging case
using three AA alkaline batteries or a Micro B USB cord (not provided) connected to a power source.
A full charge takes approximately 90 minutes, regardless of charging method. A set of new AA
batteries will provide approximately 16 complete recharges.
To recharge and store the earplugs, locate and line up the charging contacts on the earplug (3:C) and on
the charging receptacle inside the case (4:D). Insert the narrow end of the earplug (5:A) and then gently
snap it into the receptacle (5:B). Repeat for second earplug.
To recharge the earplugs via the batteries, open the battery compartment door inside the charging case.
Insert three AA batteries. Ensure the (+)(-) poles are aligned according to the diagram on the charging
case. Close the battery compartment door.
To recharge the earplugs via Micro B USB
port, connect the charging case to a power
source using a standard Micro B USB cable
(not included). The charging case will
automatically detect and draw power from
the USB connection instead of the AA batteries.
To view the charging status of the earplugs,
push the Status button (4:C). The two indicator
lights (4:E) will display the status for five
seconds (6:A).
To remove the earplugs from the charging unit,
gently lift up on the earplug while holding on to
the charging case.
