Fan Screen Cleaning
The 3M Digital Wall Display has two screens located outside of the lamp cooling fans. The cooling fans are
positioned above and beneath the lamp. The fan screen above the lamp should be cleaned every 1000 hours to
prevent dust buildup and ensure proper operation of the 3M Digital Wall Display.
1. To clean the upper screen, remove the façade, open the lamp door and remove the lamp.
2. Position the compressed air nozzle so that airflow comes in from the air vents above the lamp section.
3. Blow compressed air through the vents so that the air stream is pushed out the lamp door, forcing any dust
buildup to blow out the lamp door. A 10-oz. can of compressed air or gas duster should be used for cleaning
the screens.
