Using the Large Display
How to Turn the Display On and Off
The display turns on automatically when you
pedal the bike. You can also turn the display
on by pressing the
Function Button
.
The display will turn off automatically a few
minutes after you stop pedaling.
The Function Button
Press this button to change what is displayed
by the
Large Numerals
. You also use this
button to reset the display.
How to Reset the Display
The display keeps track of the Time, Distance
and Calories. To reset these all to zero, press
and hold the
Function Button
for at least 3
seconds.
The
Mode
Indicaors
The
Mode
is shown at the bottom of the display window. The Mode determines what is
displayed by the
Large Numerals
.
In the picture, the selected mode is
TMR
. This means that the
Large Numerals
display the
Timer
value. Press the function button to switch between modes.
All Modes are listed below.

–
Timer
: Total time pedaled since the display was last reset.

SPD
–
Speed
: Pedal speed in miles per hour.
x
DST
–
Trip Distance
: Total miles pedaled since the display was last reset.
x
CAL
–
Calories
: Estimated calories burned since the display was last reset.
x
ODO
–
Odometer
: Total distance pedaled in miles. Does not reset.
x
SCAN
–
Scan Mode
: When the
SCAN
indicator is visible, the display will cycle through
each mode. Each mode (TMR, SPD, DST, CAL, ODO) is displayed for about 5 seconds.
The difference between the DST and the ODO modes is that the Odometer (ODO) does not
clear to zero when you press the reset button.
The
STOP
Indicator
In the lower left hand corner of the display is the pedaling indicator.
The word
STOP
will be displayed when you are not pedaling.
This should not be visible when you are pedaling.
