Network Settings
The
Network Settings
screen allows you to modify your network settings
such as the Hostname, Domain name, IP address, Name Server, and
network interface settings.
Select System Config -> Network Settings from the menu to manage
your networking information.
■
Hostname — Enter the hostname (not the full domain name) of the
3Com Email Firewall, such as
in the domain name
mail.example.com
.
■
Domain — Enter the domain name, such as
example.com
.
■
Gateway — Enter the default gateway for this 3Com Email Firewall.
This is typically your network router.
■
Syslog host — Enter an optional
syslog
host to forward logs to.
A
syslog
server collects and stores log files from many sources.
■
Name Server — Enter the address of your DNS server, and enter
secondary name servers if required.
