Keypad Indication
The 2 GIG Vario System LCD keypad is the primary system interface and reports its status via its LCD icons, as described below.
Power
On
System is operating properly from AC power, backup battery is good , and there are no troubles in the
system.
Off
No power.
Slow Flash
System is being programmed.
Rapid Flash
System trouble.
Ready
On
System is ready to be armed.
Off
System is not ready to be armed.
Slow Flash
System is ready to be armed while exit/entry zone is open.
Arm
On
System is armed in Full Arm or Stay Arm mode.
Off
System is disarmed.
Slow Flash
System is in Exit Delay.
Rapid Flash
Alarm condition.
Stay /Bypass
On
System is in Stay Arm or Zone Bypass mode.
Off
No bypass zones in the system.
Tamper
On
Zone/keypad/external module has been tampered.
Off
All Zones are operating normally.
Fire
On
Fire alarm.
Off
Normal operation.
Flashing
Fire Circuit problem.
Keypad LCD Icons
LCD Status Display
The LCD status display varies depending on the number of partitions in your system. If your system is defined with only one partition, the LCD displays the
partition name, time, and date. If your system has two or three partitions, the LCD displays the system name, date, time, and the status of each partition.
Status letters represent partition status, as follows:
A:
Partition Armed
N:
Partition Not Ready
L:
Partition in Alarm
S:
Partition Stay Armed
R:
Partition Ready
