Select a value for the LCD display

Time Zone
Select a time zone when Network Time Protocol (a feature
that automatically sets PDM’s internal clock, described on page 26) has been
selected in the
Net
menu. Choose from the four named US time zones, with
or without Daylight Savings Time, or any internationally used offset from
Greenwich Mean Time.
Time/Date
Set the current time and date manually, when Network Time
Protocol is not being used.
Why bother setting the clock?
Because PDM’s PD-Alert function uses time and date to
identify audio log files.

Password
Lets you change the password required to access the web
remote control. The factory default is
pdmwebBxxx
, where

is the soft-
ware module number of your system. Use up/down arrows to change the
character value, left/right arrows to change fields.

Valid characters include upper and lower case letters, numbers and spaces
between characters. Note that spaces at the end of a character string are re-
moved.

PDM passwords are designed to prevent unauthorized access via the net-
work. They are visible from PDM’s front panel menus.
Note: In previous PDM software, the System Menu also included
