DHD includes two disks: SSD and HDD

The SSD is formatted in FAT32

Recording
1.
Recording is only on SSD, HDD is turned off during recording.
2.
For DHD recording, “EnableDHD Recording” must be selected on system setup page

At the boot up stage
1.
When the system boots up, and if the DHD recording is enabled and the SSD is
corrupted, then the DVR will attempt to recover the SD for up to 4 minutes. If the SSD
can’t be recovered, it will be formatted to FAT32
2.
When the DHD is inserted and DHD recording is enabled, the SSD will be selected as
recording disk and the HDD will be powered off if detected.
d)
After Shutdown Delay Ends
1.
After the shutdown delay, the files on SSD will copy to HDD. When the file copy is
completed, the SDD will be re-formatted to FAT32, erasing all data on the SSD.
2.
If the files from SSD are not completely copied to HDD, the SSD will not be formatted
3.
During the file copy from SSD to HDD, if live view or play archive is accessed, the file
copy from SSD to HDD is paused. After live view or play archive is disconnected, the file
copy from SSD to HDD will resume.
4.
Wireless Systems Only: After copying is finished, system starts uploading data if this
feature is enabled at setup page. The smart uploading only uploads data from HDD.
e)
The procedure of disk key lock open (off)
1.
Flash the Hard disk LED
2.
DVR stops recording and releases all the resources
3.
Un-mount all the disks
4.
Send MCU command to turn off the power
