Changing Measurement Mode
1. Adjust the eyepiece focus dial to focus on the target before measuring.
2. In the course of measurement, if the target reflection is weak or out of the measuring
range, “—” will display on the rangefinder’s screen.
3. Measurement range may be affected by the materials of the target, inclined angle
of the target surface, weather with either poor visibility or direct sunshine with
excessive heat, etc. In general, measurements will be most accurate and can be taken
from a longer distance when the target surface is smooth, bright, and in a large area,
with weather that is cloudy but not foggy and when the rangefinder’s laser beam is
perpendicular (90º) to the target surface.
4. Continuous Measurements: Press and hold for continuous measurement of the
modes below. Continuous measurement will start after the button has been pressed
for 2 seconds, and will stop once the button is released.
5. Quick press the button to switch between the five measurement modes below.
a. Golf Ball Trajectory Mode
Di Traj Angle
Press to activate Golf Ball Trajectory mode. Quick press to activate a single distance
measurement and hold to activate continuous measurement.
Note:
Trajectory compensation angle/slope range: -20°< α < 20°
b. Golf Ball Trajectory (Scan) Mode
Di Traj Angle (scan mode)
Press to activate Golf Ball Trajectory (scan) mode. Aim at the target object, press and
the flag icon will start flashing. Scan slowly back and forth on both sides of the target.
The flag icon will stop flashing after 1.5 seconds and the following data will be displayed:
distance of measured target, trajectory distance and angle.
c. Vertical Height Measuring Mode
Press to activate Vertical Height Measuring mode. Aim at the first target (usually the
top height of the object(s) being measured) and press to get the distance and angle
(angle between the measured distance and horizontal surfaces) to the target.
Next, aim at the second target (usually the lowest height of the object(s) being
measured) and press to get the second target’s distance and angle. The vertical height
between the first and second target will then be displayed on the screen. The absolute
value of the difference between the two angles will also be displayed on the screen at
the bottom.
Note:
The final measured distance refers to the vertical height between the first and second
measured targets.
d. Distance, Height, and Angle Measuring Mode
Di Angle
Press to activate Distance, Height, and Angle Measuring mode. Quick press to
activate a single distance measurement and press and hold to activate continuous
measurement.
