Vlan Group

14.1  Overview

Virtual LAN IDs are used to identify different traffic types over the same physical link.

In the following example, the VMG (DSL) can use VLAN IDs (VID) 100 and 200 to identify Video-on-
Demand and IPTV traffic respectively coming from the two VoD and IPTV multicast servers. The VMG 
(DSL) can also tag outgoing requests to these servers with these VLAN IDs.
