Click IP Application > DHCP and then the VLAN link to open the VLAN Setting screen.

Enter 102 in the VID field.

Enter the DHCP server’s IP address (172.16.1.18 in this example) in the Remote DHCP Server 1
field.

Select Option 82 and enter the Switch’s model name in the Information field.

Leave the Relay Remote ID and Remote ID Information fields empty unless something needs
to be specified.

Click Add.

Click the Save link in the upper right corner of the Web Configurator to save your configuration
permanently.

The Switch can then forward the DHCP packets between the clients and DHCP server in VLAN 102.
6.1.5 Testing the Connection
Check the client A's IP address. If it did not receive the IP address 192.168.2.3, make sure the
devices are connected and configured properly.
