ISDN Dial In Setup

LABEL DESCRIPTION

Incoming

Rem Login Name

Type the remote node login name that the remote node must use to access the
Prestige.

Rem Password

Type the remote node password corresponding to the remote node login name.

IP Address

Rem IP Address

Type the IP address of the remote node in dotted decimal notation.

Rem Subnet Mask

Type the subnet mask assigned to the remote node.

WAN IP Address

Type the IP address assigned to the WAN port of your Prestige

Network Address
Translation

Choose from

None

must configure at least one address mapping set. See the chapter on NAT for a full
discussion of this new feature.

Dial in Channel Setting

Multilink

The router uses the PPP Multilink Protocol (PPP/MP) to bundle multiple links in a
single connection to boost the effective throughput between two nodes. This option
is only available if the transfer type is 64K. Options for this field are:

Off

Always.

Budget

Allocate Budget

Type the amount of time (in minutes) that the dial backup connection can be used
during the time configured in the

Period

field. Set an amount that is less than the

time period configured in the

Period

field. If you set the

Allocated Budget

to 0, you

will not be able to use the dial backup connection.

Period

Type the time period (in hours) for how often the budget should be reset. For
example, to allow calls to this remote node for a maximum of 10 minutes every
hour, set the

Allocated Budget

to 10 (minutes) and the

Period

to 1 (hour). If you

set the

Period

to 0, there is no budget control and the Prestige uses the

Connection

settings.
