This item is used to reset the switch.

Setting
This item saves the current system/port configuration in the flash memory. The
configuration will be available after system reset or power cycle.

Management
You can configure the following items in
System Management
:
Ø
System Location:
Enter the switch’s physical location.
Ø
System Contact
: Enter the name of the person to contact if there is
any problem with the switch.
Ø
IP Address:
Enter the IP address of the switch.
Ø
DNS IP:
Enter the IP address of the DNS (Domain Name System)
server.
Ø
Domain name:
Enter the domain name of the switch.
Ø
Trap Manager:
A maximum of 3 trap managers is allowed. If you
enable Trap Report Status, then a trap is sent to the trap managers
when any of the following events occurs:
Factory Defaults
System Reset
System Cold Start
Save Setting
User Login via Telnet
Port links down
This item is used to reset the system to the factory default. Select this item when
your current configuration is not working.

System Name:
Enter a name for the switch.
Ø
Subnet Mask:
Enter the IP subnet mask of the switch.
Ø
Default Gateway:
Enter the IP address of the default gateway (first
hop router) of the switch.
