The P-870HN-5

b also has the ability to send the system log outside the CPE. Let’s
say that we want the system log to be sent to the notebook with IP = 192.168.1.101.
a.
Activate the Maintenance Log.
1.
Go to
Maintenance > Logs > Log Settings.
2.
Check the
Active
box.
3.
Select the
Log Level
, e.g. “Low”
4.
Select the
Mode
, e.g. “Remote”
5.
Enter the
Syslog Server IP Address
, e.g. “192.168.1.101”
6.
Enter the
Syslog Server UDP Port
, e.g. “514”
7.
Click
Apply.
