Chapter 1: Easy Start
Get Started
•
It is important that you test everything before you install it on the wall as installation may create physical
damage. Physical damage and scratches may void your warranties.
•
Do not try to restore to factory setting as it may cause information lost.
•
If you have not received all the components, call us, and our investigation team will check our CCTV
footage, therefore locate your missing item. This should never happen.
Login Credentials
You have to use this default login to access your system unless your have changed it. This login information
will be used repeatedly.
•
The default user name and password for IP Camera is: ”
admin
” and “
admin
”.
•
The default user name and password for NVR is ”
admin
” and “
12345
”.
Power Adaptor
You can only use a 12V power adaptor for your item. Each camera requires MINIMUM 2amp power adaptor.
NVR will come with its own power adaptor. PoE cameras REQUIRE a power adaptor to work unless you
have a PoE switch or PoE NVR. If you have problem when you powering up your camera, it most likely due
to the power adaptor.
Search Tool (Most Important Software for Configuration)
Please download the latest IPC search tool from here:

Use the Search Tool to find your IP Camera or NVR on your network. You will be using this search tool
repeatedly.
Connect to the Network
Connect your camera or NVR to your router or switch by using a CAT5 Sor CAT6 cable. More detailed
connection, please refer to chapter 6. Di

erent system may have di
ff
erent way of connection.
Adding Cameras to Your NVR
•
Go to Main Menu > Remote Device
•
Click on search, all your camera should come up on the search result.
•
If you have more than 1 camera, the ip should all look di
ff
erent, if they are the same (i.e 192.168.1.168)
you will need to change them so they all di
ff
erent. Refer to Chapter 5 for more info)
•
Click on Add.
•
Click on confirm.
•
Hopefully by now, live image should come on to your monitor.
Configure Network
•
By using the search tool you have downloaded, you will be able to find your IP Cameras or NVR on the
network.
•
All your cameras and NVR should have DHCP enabled by us already. If not, you can enable it by yourself
by using the search tool modify function. Please refer to Chapter 7 for detailed guide how to enable
DHCP.
•
Once the search tool finds your IP Cameras or NVR. Make sure you remember the IP address of each
device that appears on the search result. Type the IP address into your Internet Explorer, you will be able
to access the device through a PC.
