7.9.2. Fitting crop divider
1. Insert crop divider from the front through
the oval opening and attach to the strap
(Fig. 7.8).
2. Secure crop divider using the tube clip.
3. Adjust the inner deflector such that the reel
does not come into contact.
7.9.3. Fitting crop lifter
1. Unlock spring clamp for the crop lifter.
2. Fit the crop lifter in the groove on the
underside of the header (Fig. 7.9).
3. Lift the v-shaped recess over the header
fingers above.
4. Secure using the spring clamp (Fig. 7.10).
7.9.4. Reel adjustment
7.9.4.1. Setting reel speed
The reel speed is set continuously using the hand lever on the dashboard (see 3.1 element 9).
7.9.4.2. Reel horizontal adjustment
Manual
1. Remove the locking bolt on both sides
(Fig. 7.11).
2. Move the reel, ensure the reel does not
jam.
3. Tighten the locking bolts again.
Hydraulic
The reel is adjusted hydraulically via the buttons on the multifunction lever (see 3.3 element
7/8).
7.9.4.3. Reel prong adjustment
Settings:
Normal harvesting conditions Heavy lodged grain
Vertical / slightly to front Slightly to rear
Adjusting the reel prongs:
1. Pull the detent pin (Fig. 7.12) and hold.
2. Turn the reel until the reel prongs are in
the required position.
3. Release the detent pin.
4. Ensure the detent pin locks in the segment
with holes.
