7.2. MAINTENANCE
Exterior machine maintenance: Consists of just daily cleaning.
Also the machine requires to periodically lubricate the paddle shaft (Fig. 21). Always use grease for food
contact.
Interior of the machine: After every 150.000 cycles, the inner machine guides and springs must be
lubricated, replace the springs and a full cleaning carried out.
7.3. IDENTIFY DAMAGES
Damage Cause and/or solution
The display is not
lit
No power supply.
Fuse burnt out (Fig. 17).
Power cable not properly connected.
Switch power on (Fig. 6).
Damp circuit board. Supply dry heat to the board.
The display shows
message Error
Basket not fitted correctly (Disp. 2).
Front cover not fitted correctly (Disp. 3a-3b).
Juice tray not fitted correctly (Disp. 4).
Containers/chutes incorrectly assembled (Disp. 5a-5b).
The display shows
message Error and
a flashing Icon.
Check if the fruit is frozen.
Check for piled-up fruit peels inside the Juice tray.
Check if Balls are correctly tightened.
Check to see if peels are stuck to the inside of the Cups.
Check if components of different squeezing sets are mixed .
For an use with pomegranates, remove the washers under the balls.
To unblock the machine, use the 5 mm Allen key located at the right of the lower
vent (Fig. 22). Insert it into the hole on the right side and, with the machine
switched off, turn clockwise until the cups are raised, removing the obstruction.
WARNING: Make sure the Allen key is removed before switching the machine
on.
Blade breaks
Cup nuts are too loose.
Balls are loose.
The filter cleaner is
not removing the
pulp from the filter
A piece of fruit peel is preventing the movement of the pulp scraper filter.
The filter set has been assembled in reverse. Check that the drive shaft dovetails
properly with the hexagonal actuator (Fig. 11).
Not enough juice is
being extracted
from the fruit
The ball washers (which are placed underneath the balls) are missing.
Fruit peel is too thin. Place one extra washer under each ball.
Oranges dash out
from the paddle
The paddle shaft is too dry; proceed to grease it (Fig. 21).
For any advice or to request spare parts, you should state the model and serial number
of your machine (Fig. 19).
