6. FUNCTIONS AND CLEANING
•
It is advisable to turn the machine off at the mains before starting any cleaning processes.
•
Do not wash the machine using water jets and/or water at high pressure.
•
We recommend at least one daily clean of the components in the juice squeezing zone* (cups,
squeezing balls, drip tray, filter, blade and cover), following the cleaning instructions.
•
The product provided by the machine is citrus juice with a pH level of 4.5, which is not considered
as being a potentially dangerous foodstuff.
* For an use with pomegranates, it is recommended to clean this zone every 30 Kg of squeezed fruit.
6.1. INITIAL START-UP
•
Depending on the size of the fruits to be squeezed, select the correct size of cup and ball. See the
section on ACCESSORIES.
•
Fit all the parts in their correct positions. See
assembly
in the section on CLEANING.
•
Once the machine is turned on, the display will show a number between
1
and
50
or the letter
C
.
The number indicates the quantity of fruit to be squeezed and the letter
C
means that fruits will be
squeezed without interruption for approximately 30 minutes.
•
Depending on the number of fruits that you want to squeeze, keep pressing the
SELECT
button and
the number on the display will increase from 1 to 50, and then the letter
C
will appear
(1,2,3,..........48,49,50,C,1,2,3.....). If you keep the
SELECT
button depressed for more than 2
seconds, the number will decrease.
•
Perform this operation until the desired quantity appears.
•
Once a quantity is selected and an operation is performed, the machine will store this information
(even if it is shut off) until a new selection is made.
•
When the
ON
button on the panel is pressed, the machine will squeeze the number of fruit shown
on the display. During the process, the number of fruit left to squeeze will appear on the display. If
you want to repeat the operation, simply press the
ON
button. To stop the process, press the
STOP
button.
6.2. STOPPING
To stop the machine when is operation, press the
Stop
button. The display will show a timer and the
message
Stop.
The machine will stop once the Cups have reached the vertical position. Once the
machine completely stops, the display will show again the number of fruits to squeeze.
