About safety 

Read the instruction manual carefully before using the appliance. The manufacturer cannot 
be held liable if the appliance is used incorrectly and the application causes damage. Always 
keep the instruction manual together with the appliance for future reference. 

Safety for children and other vulnerable persons 

The appliance must not be used by children under 8 years of age, persons with 
physical, sensory or mental disabilities, persons who lack the necessary experience 
or knowledge, unless they are supervised. 

Children must not play with the appliance and must be supervised at all times. 

Keep all packaging out of the reach of children. 

Do not allow children or pets to come near the appliance while it is cooling. The 
available parts may be hot. 

Cleaning and maintenance must not be performed by children without supervision. 

Children under 3 years of age must be kept at a distance from the appliance. 

General about safety 

The cookware and glass can get very hot during use. Do not touch hot parts. 

Do not leave the appliance switched on and unattended. 

Do not operate the appliance with a power switch or a separate remote control. 

Unattended cooking with fat or oil can be dangerous and can result in a fire. 

Never attempt to extinguish a fire with water, but switch off the appliance and cover 
the open fire with e.g. a lid or a fire blanket. 

Do not store items on the cooktop. 

Do not place metal objects such as knives, forks, spoons and pot lids on the cooktop 
as they can become very hot. 

Do not use a steam cleaner to clean the appliance. 

After use, switch off the cooktop on the on / off button - do not rely on the pan 
detection. 

Unplug the appliance when the appliance is not in use for an extended period of time. 

If the power cord is damaged or the glass ceramic surface is cracked, unplug the 
power cord from the electrical outlet. 

Repairs must be made by the manufacturer, the authorized service center or a 
technician with similar qualifications. 

The appliance must only be connected to a 230V outlet with ground pin. 

The nameplate of the appliance must be respected and must not be changed. 

Do not let others use the iPad/smart device with the Ztove App while cooking on the 
device. Dangerous situations can occur if the appliance is set to too high a 
temperature by mistake.
