3.1 Cannot Open the KVM Remote Management Page
Symptom
When the
KVM
of the client
PC
connects to the server remotely, the monitor displays
nothing.
Probable Cause
l
If the
JRE
is not installed, the Web browser prompts you to download and install the
plug-in manually.
l
If the KVM Remote Management page still cannot be opened after the
JRE
is installed,
there may be a problem in the browser setting.
Note:
Internet Explorer 8 and Firefox are recommended. The following describes how to set
Internet Explorer 8.
Action
Adding the BMC Network Management System Address to the Trusted Sites Zone
1.
On the IE menu bar, select
Tools > Internet Options
. The
Internet Options
dialog
box is displayed.

Click the
Security
tab. See
