Verify that the connector pins are not bent.

Verify that the mouse settings are correct.

Clean the scroll wheel and axes.

Replace the keyboard and mouse.
3.5 Troubleshooting System Startup Failures
If you boot the system to the BIOS boot mode after installing an operating system from the
UEFI Boot Manager
, the system is suspended, and vice versa. You must boot the system
to the same boot mode in which you installed the operating system.
For all other startup failures, note the system messages displayed on the screen.
3.6 Troubleshooting Power Supplies
Note:
At least one power supply must be installed for normal system operation. After a power
supply is installed, wait for several minutes for the system to identify this power supply.
1.
Identify a faulty power supply by using the fault indicator on this power supply.
2.
Remove and install the power supply again. If the fault persists, replace this power
supply.
3.7 Troubleshooting Cooling Fans
1.
Open the cabinet cover plate.
2.
Locate the faulty fan indicated by the ESM.
3.
Re-install the fan or the fan's power cable.
Note:
Wait for at least 30 seconds for the system to identify the fan and determine whether
it is operating properly.
4.
If the fault persists, replace the faulty fan with a spare fan.
