Changing Calendar Settings
To change Calendar settings, open a Calendar view (Day, Week, Month, or Agenda) and
then touch
> Settings .
You can change General settings, which apply to all accounts, or other settings that only
apply to specific accounts.
• To add an email account, touch
> Settings >
to add a corporate or Google
account.
• For General settings, choose options for Calendar view setting and Notifications &
reminders. You can choose to show the week number, set the day of the week the
calendar starts on, and use home time zone when you are travelling. You can also
choose event reminder settings such as notification sound, vibrate, default reminder
time, and more.
Searching an Event
Touch > Search event and then type the event in the Search field, or touch to speak
out the event you want to search.
Browser
Use Browser to view web pages and search for information.
Opening the Browser
Touch the
Home
key
>
to launch the web browser. The Browser also opens when you
touch a web link – for example, in an email or a text message.
1. Open the Browser app.
2. Touch the address box at the top of the web page.
3. Enter the address (URL) of a web page, or enter terms you want to search for.
4. Touch a URL or search suggestion or touch the enter key on the keyboard to open
the web page or search results.
Setting the Home Page
Your home page opens when you open a new browser tab, and when you open Browser
after restarting your phone.
1. Open the Browser app.
2. Touch
> Settings > Set homepage
.
3. Enter the URL and touch
OK
to set it as the home page.
Using Multiple Browser Tabs
You can open several web pages at the same time (one page in each tab) and switch
between them freely.
Opening a New Browser Tab
Touch > ADD . A new browser tab opens and the home page is loaded.
