Editing an Email Account
You can change a number of settings for an account, including how often you check for
email, how you’re notified of new emails, and details about the servers the account uses
to send and receive emails.
1. Open the Email app.
2. Touch
> Settings and touch the account whose settings you want to change.
3. Make the changes you want and touch or the Back key when you’re finished.
Removing an Email Account
1. Open the Email app.
2. Touch
> Settings
and touch the account you want to remove.
3. Touch Remove account from this device > OK .
Changing General Email Settings
General settings apply to all email accounts you add.
1. Open the Email app.
2. Touch
> Settings > General settings

3. Make the changes you want and touch or the Back key when you’re finished.
Messaging
You can use Messaging to exchange text messages (SMS) and multimedia messages
(MMS).
Opening the Messaging Screen
Touch the Home key > .
The Messaging screen opens, where you can create a new message, search for messages,
or open an ongoing message thread.
• Touch
to write a new text or multimedia message.
• Touch to search for a message using keywords.
• Touch an existing message thread to open the conversation.
Sending a Message
1. On the Messaging screen, touch .
2. Add recipients in one of the following ways.

Manually enter the recipient’s number or the contact name. (You can touch to
enter numbers with a dialpad.) If the phone presents a few suggestions, touch the
one you want to add.
u
Select recipients from your contacts by touching
FREQUENTS
or
ALL CONTACTS
and touching a name.
u
To add more recipients, enter another number or contact name, or touch to
select from your contacts.
3. Touch the Send message field and enter the content of your text message.
4. If you want to send a multimedia message, touch to attach a file to the message.
5. Touch .
