As you enter a word, candidates appear above the keyboard.
Touch to select the correct one; touch and hold to remove
suggestions.

Touch to use uppercase. Double-tap to lock
uppercase. This key also changes to indicate the current
case you are using:
for lowercase, for uppercase,
and when locked in uppercase.

Touch to delete the text before the cursor.

Touch to select numbers and symbols. You can then
touch to find more.

Touch to enter emoji or emoticon.

Touch to use Google voice typing.

Touch and hold to change the input languages or set up
the Google keyboard.

Touch and hold and then slide to to change to a
smaller keyboard for easier one-handed typing. Touch /
to switch to the right-hand or left-hand keyboard, respectively,
or touch
to switch back to the full-sized keyboard.

Move your finger from letter to letter on the keyboard to trace
a word without lifting the finger.
NOTE:
To turn the word tracing feature (gesture typing) on or off, touch
and hold
on the Google keyboard and touch Gesture
typing > Enable gesture typing .
